Ljubljana, 12 November - Schedule of events in the week from 13 to 19 November:

MONDAY, 13 November
        RIYADH, Saudi Arabia/KUWAIT CITY, Kuwait - PM Janez Jansa and the accompanying business delegation are expected to end their visit to Saudi Arabia and travel on to Kuwait.
        BRUSSELS, Belgium - A session of the EU General Affairs and External Relations Council (GAERC), is to be attended by Bozo Cerar, state secretary at the Foreign Ministry. State Secretary at the Defence Ministry Franci Znidarsic is meanwhile to take part in an informal meting of the EU defence ministers.
        BRUSSELS, Belgium - A two-day meeting of the EU Education, Youth and Culture Council is to be attended by Slovenian Culture Minister Vasko Simoniti.
        LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian Tourism Board is to outline its activities in the past four years and present its future plans at a news conference.
        LJUBLJANA - Organisers of the 9th Slovenian Wine Festival are to present the event to the press.

TUESDAY, 14 November
        KUWAIT CITY, Kuwait - Prime Minister Janez Jansa is to continue his visit to Kuwait, where he is also to take part in a Kuwaiti-Slovenian business conference.
        VIENNA, Austria - President Janez Drnovsek is to meet his Austrian counterpart Heinz Fischer and present his new book "Bistvo Sveta" (The Essence of the World) at a book fair in Austria's capital.
        BRUSSELS, Belgium - The closing day of the EU Education, Youth and Culture Council session is to be attended by Slovenian Education and Sport Minister Milan Zver.
        LJUBLJANA - The euro campaign in Slovenia, managed by the government and the central bank, is to be presented at a press conference.
        LJUBLJANA - Manuel Lobo Antunes, European affairs state secretary at the Portuguese Foreign Ministry, is to visit Slovenia upon an invitation by the head of the Government Office for European Affairs (SVEZ) Janez Lenarcic.

WEDNESDAY, 15 November
        KUWAIT CITY, Kuwait - Prime Minister Janez Jansa is to end the five-day visit to Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
        BRDO PRI KRANJU - Public Administration Minister Gregor Virant is to launch a conference on best practice in Slovenian public administration.
        LJUBLJANA - The Euro-Mediterranean summit of economic and social councils and similar institutions is to begin. The event is organised by the Slovenian Economic and Social Council, the industrial relations forum.
        LJUBLJANA - Transport Minister Janez Bozic is to present the activities of his ministry and its plans at the second anniversary of the election of the current cabinet.
        LJUBLJANA - Higher Education, Science and Technology Ministry is to present Systher, a new Slovenian-German project for the financing of science and research.
        LJUBLJANA - The best Slovenian mobility projects will be awarded the apples of quality by Education and Sport Minister Milan Zver.

THURSDAY, 16 November
        LJUBLJANA - Parliament is to convene at an extraordinary session to pass the 2007 and the 2008 budgets.
        LJUBLJANA - The cabinet is to meet for its regular session.
        LJUBLJANA - Janez Lenarcic, the head of the Government Office for European Affairs (SVEZ), is to meet Tanja Miscevic, the head of the Serbian office for EU accession.
        SVETI STEFAN, Montenegro - President Janez Drnovsek is to attend the 3rd forum on economic development of SE Europe.
        NOVO MESTO - Pharma Company Krka is to organise a press conference to present its results in the first nine months of 2006.
        LJUBLJANA - The Ljubljana city council is to convene for its maiden session.
        PORTOROZ - The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GZS) is to host a two-day conference on real estate.
        ANKARAN - The Association of Journalists is to organise a three-day annual conference "Journalism Days 2006".
        KRANJSKA GORA - The 4th Days of European Law are to kick off. The three-day event is organised by the firm GV Izobrazevanje, the Institute for European Studies and the Academy of European Law.
        MALAGA, Spain - Slovenia's Union Olimpija are to take on Spain's Unicaja Malaga in the 4th round of the Euroleague, Europe's premiere basketball competition.

FRIDAY, 17 November
        LJUBLJANA - Parliament is to continue its extraordinary budget session.
        LJUBLJANA - Incumbent Ljubljana mayor Danica Simsic is to hand over her duties to the newly-elected mayor Zoran Jankovic.
        SOFIA, Bulgaria - Environment and Spatial Planning Minister Janez Podobnik is to meet his host and counterpart Djevdet Chakurov.

SATURDAY, 18 November
