Ljubljana, 14 November - Below is a schedule of events for Wednesday, 15 November:

LJUBLJANA/POSTOJNA - Council of Europe's Human Rights Commissioner Thomas Hammarberg will be visiting Slovenia. Hammarberg is scheduled to hold talks with Interior Minister Dragutin Mate and Education Minister Milan Zver, who heads the government commission for the Roma. The CoE official is also expected to meet the Roma family that has been temporarily relocated to a former army barracks in Postojna following protests by the locals of the village of Ambrus, central Slovenia. KUWAIT, Kuwait - Prime Minister Janez Jansa is to is to conclude his five-day visit to Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Jansa's entourage includes four ministers and a delegation of more than 60 executives.

LJUBLJANA - The deputy group of the opposition National Party (SNS) is expected to present a motion to oust Labour Minister Janez Drobnic. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Slovenian Parliament Speaker France Cukjati is to meet at 11 AM speakers of several regional parliaments from Italy, Croatia and Hungary to discuss the Euroregion. A press conference is scheduled for 5 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The government commission for the resolution of open issues of religious communities is to hold a session at 10 AM dedicated to an overview of the state's agreements with individual religious communities. Justice Minister Lovro Sturm, the chair of the commission, is expected to talk to the press at 11:30 AM.

LJUBLJANA - The college of deputy group leaders is to come together at 9:30 AM to set the agenda for the extraordinary session of parliament, which begins on Thursday.

LJUBLJANA - The parliament's committee on finance and monetary policy is to hold a session at 9 AM to debate changes to the 2007 budget.

LJUBLJANA - Justice Minister Lovro Sturm is to present at a press conference at 1 PM the record of the Justice Ministry in 2006.

LJUBLJANA - Transport Minister Janez Bozic is to present at 11 AM the activities of his ministry and its plans to mark the second anniversary of the election of the current cabinet.

BRDO PRI KRANJU - Public Administration Minister Gregor Virant will deliver at 9:30 AM the opening speech at the conference on Best Practice in Slovenian Public Administration. Virant is to speak to the press at 11 AM.

LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian Railways is to unveil to the press at 1 PM the company's Q3 results and plans for the remainder of the year.

LJUBLJANA - The Euro-Mediterranean summit of economic and social councils and similar institutions is to begin. The three-day event is organised by the Slovenian Economic and Social Council, the industrial relations forum.

ROME, Italy - The fourth meeting of the signatories of the convention on cross-border environmental impacts of industrial accidents is to get underway. The two-day event is also attended by a delegation of the Slovenian Ministry of Environment and Spatial planning.

LJUBLJANA - Representatives of the European Commission and the Ministry for Environment and Spatial Planning are to present to the press at 12.30 PM LIFE project in Slovenian and the new LIFE + programme for the 2007-2013 period.

LJUBLJANA - The 7th Biennial of Slovenian Illustration will open at the Cankarjev dom arts centre at 8 PM, featuring the best of what was published in picture books over the past two years.
