Ljubljana, 16 November - Below is a schedule of events for Friday, 17 November:
LJUBLJANA - Prime Minister Janez Jansa and Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel are scheduled to meet for separate talks Kosovo PM Agim Ceku, who is due to take part in the Portoroz Business Conference. The meeting with Jansa is scheduled for 9:30 AM and the meeting with Rupel at 10 AM. (STA/PHOTO)
LJUBLJANA - Parliament is to continue the extraordinary budget session at 10 AM with a debate on the 2008 budget bill, which projects EUR 8.1bn in revenues and EUR 8.4bn in expenditures. (STA)
PORTOROZ - The final day of the Portoroz Business Conference is to focus on Slovenian banks and the role of information technology in developing new products in the banking sector (9 AM); Ukraine and Kosovo's efforts to become market economies (11:30 AM and 2:30 PM, respectively); and tycoons, corporativism and cronyism (5 PM).
LJUBLJANA - The Euro-Mediterranean summit of economic and social councils and similar institutions is to wrap up with the adoption of a final declaration (4 PM) and an address by Labour, Family and Social Affairs Minister Janez Drobnic (5 PM). (STA)
KRANJSKA GORA - The 4th Days of European Law continue. The three-day event is organised by the firm GV Izobrazevanje, the Institute for European Studies and the Academy of European Law.
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary EU affairs committee is to convene a session at 8 AM to debate the positions for the upcoming sessions of the EU Council and the annual report on the work of the parliament's permanent delegation in the Euro-Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly for 2005.
LJUBLJANA - An international conference on workers' mobility is to open at 9 AM. The event is organised by the Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Affairs at the conclusion of the European Year of Workers' Mobility.
SOFIA, Bulgaria - Environment and Spatial Planning Minister Janez Podobnik is to meet his Bulgarian host and counterpart Djevdet Chakurov.
LJUBLJANA - Agriculture, Forestry and Food Minister Marija Lukacic will be taking stock of the last two years of her term in office at a press conference scheduled for 8:30 AM.
LJUBLJANA - Local Self-Government and Regional Policy Minister Ivan Zagar is to address the press at 12:30 AM to unveil plans for 2007.

KOPER - Luka Koper, the operator of the only Slovenian commercial port, is to hold a press conference at 11 AM to talk about environmental issues.
LJUBLJANA - The international committee against the deportation of the Berisha family is to speak to the press at 10 AM.
LJUBLJANA - Alojz Peterle, a member of the European Parliament for the coalition New Slovenia (NSi), is set to speak to the press at 11 AM to discuss the topic "Let's Stop Violence". Peterle has recently announced his bid for the 2007 presidential election.
DEBELI RTIC - A press conference is scheduled for noon to present a Civil Military Cooperation (CIMIC) exercise whose purpose is training for peacekeeping operations.
LJUBLJANA - The Academy of European Law is to be presented at an event scheduled for 4 PM.
LJUBLJANA - A conference of the European members of the International Military Sports Council is set to start at 9 AM.
KOPER - A press conference is scheduled for 11 AM at the Russian SEDOV training ship, which is due in Slovenia's port of Koper at the invitation of the Slovenian government.
