In a Mature Market, Petrol is Seeking to Expand Southwards

Ljubljana, 17 November - Energy company Petrol posted bumper profits for the first three quarters of the year: sales expanded by 12% to SIT 342bn (EUR 1.43bn), with profit profit soaring by 30% to SIT 9.5bn (EUR 39.6m). However, the Slovenian market is mature and volume sales of oil derivatives edged up only 1%, so the company is looking for growth opportunities on other markets.
