Sava Exceeds Plans in First Nine Months

Kranj, 20 November - Sava, the chemical and tourism conglomerate, posted sales of SIT 29.2bn (EUR 121.85m) for the first nine months of 2006. Taking into consideration the loss of revenue from the sale of its retail branch Sava Trade, like-for-like sales were up 14% over the year before and 4% above plans, the company said on Monday. Net profit was down 8% to SIT 6.5bn (EUR 27.1m).
