Ljubljana, 20 November - Below is a schedule of events for Tuesday, 21 November:

LJUBLJANA - Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Draskovic is to meet his Slovenian counterpart Dimitrij Rupel (10 AM) and Prime Minister Janez Jansa (10:30 AM) during his visit to Slovenia. Draskovic and Rupel are to talk to the press at 11 AM. (STA/PHOTO)

LJUBLJANA - Parliament is to continue its regular session at 10 AM to debate, at second reading, of bills dealing with public-private partnership, public contracting, banking and the Academy of Engineering.

LJUBLJANA - The parliament's foreign policy committee is to look into the accord with Germany on the avoidance of double taxation at a session partially closed for the public; at 8 AM.

BRUSSELS, Belgium - Agriculture Minister Marija Lukacic will be taking part in the final day of the session of the EU Agriculture and Fisheries Council.

BRUSSELS, Belgium - Local Government and Regional Policy Minister Ivan Zagar is to attend an informal meeting of EU ministers in charge of regional policy.

BRUSSELS, Belgium - A Slovenian delegation is to take part in a session of the EU's Economic and Financial Affairs Council. The session is to focus on the EU budget for 2007.

LJUBLJANA - Forum 21, a business and political forum set up by former president Milan Kucan is to host a discussion with former Hungarian prime minister Gyula Horn on the future of Europe; at 5 PM.

LJUBLJANA - Education Minister Milan Zver will present the ministry's achievements this year and plans for 2007 at a press conference scheduled for 1 PM.

LJUBLJANA - The Association of Free Trade Unions of Slovenia (ZSSS), is to comment on the Labour Ministry's draft strategy for raising the birth rate; at 1 PM.

LJUBLJANA - The executive board of the coalition People's Party (SLS) is to debate the results of the local elections. SLS president Janez Podobnik is to speak to the press at 6:30 PM.

BRNIK - US package delivery company UPS and Aerodrom Ljubljana, the manager of the Ljubljana Airport, are to sign an agreement on cooperation as the first UPS aircraft touches down at Brnik; at 11 AM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - A press conference at noon is to present the 22nd Slovenian Book Fair, to open at Cankarjev dom arts centre on 28 November.
