Number of HIV, AIDS Cases in Slovenia Still Low

Ljubljana, 30 November - Slovenia has a relatively low HIV/AIDS incidence compared to the world average, according to Slovenian Institute of Health (IVZ) data on HIV and AIDS cases in Slovenia in 2006. A total of 28 new HIV infections were reported this year, while five people were diagnosed with AIDS since the beginning of 2006.
