Papers Critical of Labour Minister on Abortion

Ljubljana, 21 November - The decision of Minister of Labour, Family and Social Affairs Janez Drobnic to tighten abortion rules continues to reverberate in the press. Dailies Finance and Delo are critical of the minister's proposal on abortion in Tuesday's commentaries, but for different reasons: while Finance says the minister should go for trying to force his ideology on Slovenians, Delo says Drobnic's proposal is a great disservice for the promotion of child birth.
