Troubled Olimpija Appoints Former Star As Sporting Director

Ljubljana, 22 November - Slovenia's best basketball club Union Olimpija on Tuesday appointed its former star player Jure Zdovc as its acting sporting director. While his job is to reestablish the Ljubljana club's as one of Europe's best, Zdovc will face severe restraints as Olimpija is still looking for ways out of a deep financial hole.
