Parliament Signs into Law 2-Year Telecoms Data Retention

Ljubljana, 28 November - Parliament signed into law on Tuesday a two-year period of compulsory data retention for telephone calls as part of amendments to the electronic communications act, the longest period envisaged by the relevant EU directive.
