NGO Challenges Constitutionality of Govt Development Resolution

Ljubljana, 22 November - A non-governmental organisation has petitioned the Constitutional Court to review the government's resolution on national development projects in the 2007-2023 period. Umanotera said on Wednesday that several projects had not undergone a comprehensive review of impacts on the environment as required by law. The Environment and Spatial Planning Ministry responded by saying that such reviews are carried out at the local level.
