BRDO PRI KRANJU - A meeting oh high-ranking officials of the Human Security Network is to take place as part of a child abuse prevention conference.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - The closing of a session of the EU Employment, Social Policy, Health and Consumer Affairs Council is to be attended by Marko Strovs, director general of the Directorate for Labour Relations and Labour Rights at the Labour, the Family and Social Affairs Ministry.
BERLIN, Germany/VIENNA, Austria - Interior Minister Dragutin Mate will visit Germany and Austria, meeting his German and Austrian opposite numbers Wolfgang Schauble and Liese Prokop.
LJUBLJANA - The results of the Politbarometer public opinion poll will be presented at 12:30 AM by the Centre for Public Opinion Research.

LJUBLJANA - Economy Minister Andrej Vizjak will present at 12:30 AM the activities of his ministry in the past two years.
LJUBLJANA - The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GZS) is to hold a news conference at noon on the final preparations of Slovenian companies for the euro 1 January euro switch, and the GZS activities in that period.
LJUBLJANA - A panel by the Slovenian association of design artist will hold at 11 AM a round table, which will discuss the shortcomings of the public call for new tourist logo and slogan for Slovenia.

MARIBOR - The National Chemicals Bureau, Umanotera NGO and Maribor environment protection office are to hold at 9 AM a news conference on chemicals in every day life, their dangers and alternatives in connection with the EU REACH directive.
LJUBLJANA - Participants of a meeting on biomass and other renewable energy sources, organised by the Slovenian biomass association and the National Council will be addressed by Environment and Spatial Planning Minister Janez Podobnik and National Council Speaker Janez Susnik.
