Mate: Newcomers Wish to Enter Schengen in Early 2008

Vilnius, 30 November - Next week's meeting of the EU Justice and Home Affairs Council will see EU newcomers calling on the bloc's members to adopt the Portuguese Schengen Information System (SIS I) solution for all Schengen candidates, Slovenian Interior Minister Dragutin Mate told STA on Thursday after meeting his colleagues from new EU member states in Vilnius.
