Handball: Slovenia Crash Out of Euro Championships

Gothenburg, 10 December - A lacklustre Slovenia slumped to their third defeat of the European Women's Handball Championships with a 30:34 (10:18) loss to Poland in Gothenburg on Sunday. Having lost all three matches in the preliminary round - to Norway on Friday and Germany on Saturday - Slovenia failed to proceed to the second stage of the tournament.
