Ex President Stresses Importance of de Facto Minority Protection

Trieste, 12 December - Former Slovenian President Milan Kucan believes that Slovenia's generally respects its self-imposed high standards of minority protection. However, some recent issues have shown that even the best principles and regulations do not guarantee protection from populism, xenophobia and racism, Kucan said on Tuesday.
