Ombudsman Nominee Enjoys Weak Support among Deputy Factions

Ljubljana, 13 December - The parliamentary Credentials and Privileges Commission on Wednesday backed President Janez Drnovsek's nominee for human rights ombudsman. Considering the positions presented by MPs, Zdenka Cebasek Travnik has the guarantee to get at least 44 out of the 60 votes she needs to get appointed to the post in parliament.
