Ljubljana, 17 December - Below is a schedule of events for Monday, 18 December:

LJUBLJANA - The National Assembly is to resume at 10 AM its final session of the year, among others with Prime Minister Janez Jansa appearing for questions time and with a vote on Marjeta Cotman, the nominee for minister of labour, the family and social affairs. (STA/PHOTO)

LJUBLJANA - Prime Minister Janez Jansa is to host at 9 AM the presidents of the parliamentary parties that have signed the development partnership pact for an analysis of the work done so far and to determine future steps. (STA/PHOTO)

BRUSSELS, Belgium - Environment and Spatial Planning Minister Janez Podobnik is to attend a meeting of EU environment ministers. The agenda of the council includes the new framework directive to protect the marine environment, climate change in the light of last month's UN conference and the European Commission's Strategy and Action Plan for conserving biodiversity.

OTOCEC - Defence Minister Karl Erjavec is to receive his counterpart from Bosnia-Herzegovina Nikola Radovanovic. The pair are to discuss cooperation for the period after Bosnia-Herzegovina joins the Partnership for Peace and sign an agreement on cooperation in the area of defence. A press conference is scheduled for 4 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The National Council, the upper chamber of parliament, is to present to the press at 11 AM its 2006 record.

LJUBLJANA/DIVACA - Slovenian Railways is to outline results for 2006 at a press conference scheduled for 8:10 AM.

BLED - Chemical and tourism conglomerate Sava is to outline results for 2006 and plans at a press conference at 1 PM.

JESENICE - Steel producer Acroni is to present its 2006 results and plans for 2007 at a press conference at 9 AM.

TRBOVLJE - A movement promoting public health care is to hold a panel also attended by Health Minister Andrej Brucan; begins at 5 PM.
