Ljubljana, 18 December - Below is a schedule of events for Tuesday, 19 December:

LJUBLJANA - Parliament is continue its last regular session for the year. The day's agenda includes a vote on the amendments to the railways act, amendments to the asbestos act and the religious freedom bill. The session resumes at 10 AM. (STA/PHOTO)

LJUBLJANA - Members of the trade union of asbestos patients are to gather in front of the parliament building at noon to protest against the amendments to the asbestos act that the national Assembly is expected to confirm in a re-vote after the National Council veto.

BRUSSELS, Belgium - Agriculture Minister Marija Lukacic is to be in attendance at the opening of a three-day meeting of EU agriculture ministers.

BUDAPEST, Hungary - European Affairs State Secretary Janez Lenarcic is to visit Hungary at the invitation of the Deputy State Secretary for European Affairs Gabor Ivan.

LJUBLJANA - The director of civil engineering company Riko Janez Skrabec and Kuwaiti businessman Hussein Al Kharafi are to sign a charter establishing the Slovenian-Kuwaiti Economic Forum; at 5 PM. (STA/PHOTO)

LJUBLJANA - The Programming Council of public broadcaster RTV Slovenija is to debate topical developments at a session scheduled to begin at 10 AM.

LJUBLJANA - PM Janez Jansa is to hold a reception for the family members of the Territorial Defence, police and civilian victims of the ten-day war for Slovenian independence.

LOG PRI MENGSU - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel and wife Marjetica Rupel are to host a New Year's reception for the diplomatic corps; at 7 PM.

LJUBLJANA - The state-owned Slovenian Restitution Fund (SOD) is to present results for 2006 and plans for 2007 at a press conference at 10 AM.

LJUBLJANA - The Surveying and Mapping Authority is to hold a press conference at 11 AM to speak about the ongoing property census.

LJUBLJANA - A delegation of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress in the Chinese province of Hainan is to be received at the Environment Ministry by the head of the environment and spatial planning directorate Radovan Tavzes.
