Govt Adopts New programme for Cuts in Greenhouse Gas Emissions

Ljubljana, 20 December - The government on Wednesday adopted an operational plan for the reduction of greenhouse gas until 2011, which is expected to cut emissions by 8% until 2012 in line with Kyoto targets. The programme is feasible, Environment Minister Janez Podobnik told the press after the cabinet session.
