Tax Changes Enter into Force

Ljubljana, 1 January - After a mini tax reform was implemented at the beginning of 2006, seven new tax laws entered into force on New Year's Day as a culmination of the government's work in reforming the tax system. The legislation, passed by parliament in early November, was drawn up in a bid to simplify the tax code and cut taxes.
