Slovenia Bids the Tolar Farewell

Ljubljana, 31 December - After enjoying the status of the most trusted emblem in the country for most of the 15 years since it became Slovenia's national currency, the tolar is bidding farewell to make way for the euro as of 1 January. Both currencies will be in circulation for two weeks, but on 15 January the tolar ceases to be legal tender.
