Every Tenth Inhabitant of Slovenia Born Abroad

Ljubljana, 2 January - Eleven percent of the 1,997,590 people living in Slovenia at the end of 2004 were born outside of Slovenia. An additional 13,292 foreign citizens moved to Slovenia in 2005, the majority coming from the former Yugoslavia, according to the Statistics Office.
