Ljubljana, 3 January - Slovenian blue chips exploded on Wednesday, the first working day following the switch to the euro. Broad-based gains for a large majority of shares helped propel the SBI 20 benchmark index 168.68 points (2.64%) higher to a new all-time high of 6,551.52. The SBI TOP index of the six biggest blue chips was up 27.93 points (1.9%) to 1,501.26.
