Schedule of Events for Friday, 5 February

BRDO PRI KRANJU - A two-day annual meeting of Slovenian diplomats, focusing on Slovenia's preparations for its stint at the helm of the EU in the first half of 2008, is to come to a close. At 9:20 AM participants are to be addressed by Czech Foreign Minister Alexandr Vondra, who will speak about transatlantic relations.

LJUBLJANA - The opposition Liberal Democrats (LDS) are to stage a press conference at which LDS president Jelko Kacin, MP Darja Lavtizar Bebler and Ptuj Mayor Stefan Celan are to speak about current affairs; at 2 PM.

LJUBLJANA - The Pergam trade union association to hold a press conference at 10 AM to present among other things its views ahead of negotiations with the labour minister on the employment relationship act.

GORNJA RADGONA - Fairgrounds operator Pomurski sejem is to talk to the press at 11 AM about its operations in 2006 and plans for 2007.
