Euro Conference Hails Historic Transition from Tolar to Euro

Ljubljana, 15 January - Slovenia's adoption of the euro was hailed as a historic success at a conference in Ljubljana on Monday that marked the final transition from the tolar to the euro. The euro is a historic challenge and opportunity for the country to develop into a stable economic and financial environment, central bank Governor Mitja Gaspari said in his keynote address.
