Almunia, Bajuk Optimistic About Slovenia's Euro Future
Ljubljana, 15 January - European Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs Joaquin Almunia told the press in Ljubljana on Monday that Slovenia could now reap the rewards of the euro, but would also have to address the main challenges that lie ahead. Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk meanwhile highlighted the pension system as the toughest challenge facing Slovenia.
