Statistics Office Counters Eurostat Claims on Lower R&D Funds

Ljubljana, 15 January - Eurostat has undervalued its assessment of the funds that Slovenia spent on Research and Development in 2005, the Statistics Office told STA on Monday. According to the Eurostat data released on Friday, Slovenia spent 1.22% (EUR 338m) of its GDP on R&D in 2005, while the Slovenian office said the share was 1.49% of GDP.
