Central Bank Publishes "Contentious" Documents

Ljubljana, 28 January - Banka Slovenija published on its website on Saturday the documents that have thrown in doubt the reappointment of Mitja Gaspari as the central bank's governor. The forecasts of the bank's analytic centre indicate that Slovenia's budget deficits in 2007 and 2008 could stand at 2%, which is slightly above the 1.5% and 1.6% projected by the government.
