Prosecution Rejects Ombudsman's Statements on Covert Surveillance

Ljubljana, 30 January - The war of words between the Office of the State Prosecutor General and Ombudsman Matjaz Hanzek continues. After Hanzek questioned the finding of the prosecution that police did not violate human rights or carry out illegal covert surveillance of a Roma family, the prosecution said on Tuesday some of his statements were "intolerant and spinned depictions of our findings."
