Ljubljana, 11 February - Schedule of events in the week from 12 to 18 February:

MONDAY, 12 February
        BRDO PRI KRANJU - Slovenian and Austrian interior ministers, Dragutin Mate and Guenther Platter, are to hold an informal meeting to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation in the EU and the Salzburg Forum.
        BRUSSELS, Belgium - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel and EU Affairs State Secretary Janez Lenarcic are to be taking part in a meeting of EU foreign ministers dedicated to international issues, including the future of Kosovo.
        BERLIN, Germany - Culture Minister Vasko Simoniti is to be taking part in an informal meeting of EU culture ministers.
        JERUSALEM, Israel - Transport Minister Janez Bozic is to begin a three-day visit to Israel at the invitation of his Israeli counterpart Shaul Mofaz. Bozic is to meet his host on the first day and attend an international logistics-transport conference over the next two days.
        LJUBLJANA - The Tax Administration (DURS) is to hold a press conference to answer claims by the Court of Audits over shortcomings in its IT system.
        LJUBLJANA - A public debate is to be held on the changes to the act on financial operations of companies proposed by the Economics Ministry.

TUESDAY, 13 February
        BRUSSELS, Belgium - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to be taking part in a session of the Commission for the Caucasus and Caspian Basin.
        STRASBOURG, France - European Affairs State Secretary Janez Lenarcic is to be attending a two-day a plenary of the European Parliament as part of Slovenian preparations for the EU presidency.
        LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary Defence Committee is to convene an emergency session to discuss the disputed purchase of 8X8 armoured personnel carriers by the Defence Ministry.
        LJUBLJANA - International rating house Dun&Bradstreet and Slovenian partner I are to hand out the Rating of the Year awards.
        LJUBLJANA - Macedonian chief state auditor Dragoljub Arsovski is to be paying a working visit to Slovenia.
        LJUBLJANA - Paper company Paloma is to speak about its results and plans at a press conference.
        LJUBLJANA - A press conference is to be held ahead of the Arts of Turkey festival.

WEDNESDAY, 14 February
        LJUBLJANA - The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GZS) is to stage a strategic conference on the competitiveness of the Slovenian economy, which will see the participation of Labour Minister Marjeta Cotman and Public Administration Minister Gregor Virant.
        LJUBLJANA - Foundry Mariborska livarna Maribor and civil engineering company Riko are to outline a partnership.
        LJUBLJANA - The Constitutional Court is to present activities in 2006 at a press conference.
        LJUBLJANA - A press conference is to be held ahead of Gibanica festival of Slovenian dance.

THURSDAY, 15 February
        LJUBLJANA - The parliament is to convene for an extraordinary session to discuss the disputed purchase of 8X8 armoured personnel carriers by the Defence Ministry.
        LJUBLJANA - The cabinet is to hold its weekly session.
        BRUSSELS, Belgium - Interior Minister Dragutin Mate and Justice Minister Lovro Sturm are to be taking part in a session of the EU Council for Justice and Home Affairs.
        BRUSSELS, Belgium - Economy Minister Andrej Vizjak is to take part in session of the EU Council for Transport, Telecommunications and Energy.

FRIDAY, 16 February
        LJUBLJANA - Cypriot Foreign Minister Giorgos Lilikas is to be visiting Slovenia.
        LJUBLJANA - Portuguese Defence Minister Nune Severiano Teixeria is to be visiting Slovenia.
        MURSKA SOBOTA - Representatives of the World Roma Association are to visit Slovenia to meet representatives of the Slovenian Roma Association.
        BRUSSELS, Belgium - Education Minister Milan Zver is to be taking part in a session of the EU Council for Education, Youth and Culture.

SATURDAY, 17 February
        LJUBLJANA - Representatives of the World Roma Association are to meet cabinet officials.
        LJUBLJANA - The Dnevnik Fabula award is to be handed out at the conclusion of the Fabula festival of short story.

SUNDAY, 18 February
        CELJE - Awards are to be handed out as the Days of Comedy theatre festivals comes to a close.
