Ljubljana, 12 February - Below is a schedule of events for Tuesday, 13 February:

LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary Defence Committee is to convene an emergency session at noon to discuss the disputed purchase of 8X8 armoured personnel carriers by the Defence Ministry. (STA/PHOTO)

BRUSSELS, Belgium - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to be taking part in the final day of a session of the Commission for the Caucasus and Caspian Basin. A press conference is scheduled for 2:30 PM. (STA)

LOD, Israel - A Transport Ministry delegation headed by Minister Janez Bozic it to attend an international logistics and transport conference as part of his three-day visit to Israel. Minister Bozic is expected to deliver an address at the event.

STRASBOURG, France - European Affairs State Secretary Janez Lenarcic is to be attending a two-day plenary of the European Parliament as part of Slovenian preparations for the EU presidency.

LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary Budget Oversight Commission and Transport Committee are set to debate a report on the state of the EU and Slovenia's position in it in 2006 and a draft declaration that sets down guidelines for Slovenia's activities in EU institutions between January 2007 and June 2008. Both sessions begin at 2 PM.

LJUBLJANA - The opposition Social Democrats (SD) are to present their position on the nominees for central bank governor and the ministers for agriculture and development; at 1 PM.

LJUBLJANA - The Pension and Disability Insurance Institute (ZPIZ) is to present the results for 2006 at a press conference at 11 AM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - International rating house Dun&Bradstreet and its Slovenian partner, I, are to hand out the Rating of the Year awards at 1 PM. (STA/FOTO)

LJUBLJANA - Macedonian chief state auditor Dragoljub Arsovski will be paying a working visit to Slovenia at the invitation of Igor Soltes, the president of the Court of Audits.

CELJE - The Zlatorog Business Club is to host a meeting on the competitiveness of Slovenian cities at 6 PM. Participants include the mayors of the three biggest Slovenian cities, Ljubljana, Maribor and Celje.

LJUBLJANA - Paper company Paloma is to speak about its results and plans at a press conference at 11 AM.

LJUBLJANA - A press conference is to be held at 11 AM, ahead of the Arts of Turkey festival. (STA)
