Skiing Worlds: Valencic Takes 9th

Aare, 14 February - Slovenian skier Mitja Valencic finished ninth in Wednesday's giant slalom at the World Championships in Aare. Valencic, who was 13th after the first run, finished 1.47 seconds behind the winner, Norway's Aksel Lund Svindal (2:19.64).
