Constitutional Court Head Says Court Reached Breaking Point

Ljubljana, 14 February - The Constitutional Court received 3,053 new claims in 2006, 62% more than in 2005, and delivered 1,667 decisions, a 14% increase over 2005. Since legislation has not been changed, the court reached a breaking point in the number of matters it can decide on, Constitutional Court president Janez Cebulj told the press on Wednesday.
