BREZICE/CATEZ OB SAVI - The council of the ruling Slovenian Democrats (SDS) is to convene a session on topical political affairs. SDS president Janez Jansa will speak to the press at 4:15 PM before heading to Catez ob Savi for a celebration of the party's 18th anniversary (6 PM), where he will deliver the keynote address. MURSKA SOBOTA - A visiting delegation of the International Romani Union is expected to meet representatives of the Slovenian government, among them Environment Minister Janez Podobnik, who chairs the government commission for the Roma, and Stane Baluh, the head of the Office for Ethnic Communities. A press conference is scheduled for 3 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The Fabula festival of storytelling will wrap up at 7 PM with the conferring of the Fabula Prize for best short story.
