MONDAY, 19 February
SARAJEVO, Bosnia-Herzegovina - Prime Minister Janez Jansa is to pay a visit to Sarajevo upon invitation by Nikola Spiric, the chairman of the council of ministers. Jansa will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel, Economy Minister Andrej Vizjak, Labour, the Family and Social Affairs Minister Marjeta Cotman and some 90 executives from over 70 Slovenian companies.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - An EU Competitiveness Council meeting is to be attended by Slovenian Public Administration Minister Gregor Virant.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Environment and Spatial Planning Minister Janez Podobnik is to meet European Environment Commissioner Stavros Dimas and his German and Portuguese counterparts Sigmar Gabriel and Francisco Nunes Correia ahead of a meeting of EU environment ministers on Tuesday.
LONDON, UK - A delegation of the parliamentary Foreign Policy Committee is to pay a two-day visit to the United Kingdom.
BUDAPEST, Hungary - Transport Ministry State Secretary Peter Verlic is to begin a two-day visit to Budapest, where he is to meet his Hungarian opposite number Abel Garamhegy.
LJUBLJANA - Talks on the 2006-2009 Social Agreement are to continue. The head of the government negotiating team Dusan Krajnik is to be at hand after the talks.
LJUBLJANA - The Pergam trade union confederation is to present its views on the amendments to the employment relationship act.
TUESDAY, 20 February
LENDAVA/LJUTOMER/MURSKA SOBOTA - Prime Minister Janez Jansa is to meet representatives of the Hungarian minority prior to the Wednesday cabinet visit to Prekmurje (NE). The PM will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel, Education Minister Milan Zver, Culture Minister Vasko Simoniti and the head of the government office for nationalities Stanko Baluh. Also visiting the region will be Justice Minister Lovro Sturm, Transport Minister Janez Bozic and Interior Minister Dragutin Mate.
LJUBLJANA - Outgoing Human Rights Ombudsman Matjaz Hanzek is to speak about his activities in the past six years, prior to ending his term in office on Wednesday.
LJUBLJANA - General Josip Lucic, the chief of staff of the Croatian Armed Forces is to arrive for a two day visit to Slovenia on invitation by his counterpart Lieutenant-General Albin Gutman.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - The EU Environment Council is to hold a meeting. Slovenian Environment and Spatial Planning Minister Janez Podobnik is to be at hand.
RAVNE NA KOROSKEM - Milan Svajger, the new general manager of defence contractor Sistemska Tehnika, is to present his vision of the company's development.
WEDNESDAY, 21 February
MORAVSKE TOPLICE/LJUTOMER/MURSKA SOBOTA - The cabinet is to visit the region of Prekmurje (NE), one of Slovenia's most impoverished regions.
LJUBLJANA - Human Rights Ombudsman for the past six years Matjaz Hanzek will hand over his duties to successor Zdenka Cebasek Travnik.
LJUBLJANA - Former Turkish Prime Minister Mesut Yilmaz is to hold a lecture on Turkey and its accession to the EU.

LJUBLJANA - The Chamber of Commerce (GZS) and the Higher Education, Science and Technology Ministry are to outline Slovenia's options in cooperating with the European Space Agency.

LJUBLJANA - Slovenian handball champions Krim Mercator are to face Ribarroja of Spain in round 6 of the European Champions League, group A.
