Nordic Athletes Aiming for at Least One Medal at Worlds

Ljubljana, 22 February - The FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Sapporo, Japan, will get underway on Thursday. While cross-country skier Petra Majdic is Slovenia's best shot for a medal, ski jumpers have been galvanised by a recent third-place finish by Jernej Damjan. The nordic combination team's hopes, on the other hand, are much more modest.
