NGOs Appeal to People to Go Alcohol Free During Lent

Ljubljana, 20 February - Various organisations have started a campaign for Slovenians to go alcohol free for 40 days, during the period of Lent. In Slovenia, around 170,000 people are estimated to have alcohol-related problems and every third fatal car accident is caused by a drink driver, the organisers said on Tuesday.
