Slovenian Scouts Celebrate Centenary of Scouting

Ljubljana, 22 February - Scouts across the world are celebrating on Thursday the 150th birthday of Robert Baden-Powell, the father of the Scouting Movement, who organised the first camping trip in 1907. This year, Slovenian scouts will also celebrate the centenary of scouting, which will be marked on 1 August, 100 years to the day the trip begun.
