Garmisch-Partenkirchen, 23 February - Slovenian Andrej Jerman surprisingly won Friday's World Cup downhill in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, giving Slovenia the first downhill win in history. This is also the first ski World Cup victory for men since 2000.
