Blue Chips Slide in Mixed Week

Ljubljana, 24 February - It was a week of two halves for Slovenian blue chips: whereas the first half saw shares dip on strong selling pressure, the second was marked by a rebound. However, the gains from the last two days of the trading week were not enough to erase the losses from earlier and the SBI 20 benchmark index ended the week 76.37 points (1.04%) lower at 7,203.74, its second losing week following six consecutive weeks of gains.
