Ljubljana, 25 February - Below is a schedule of events for Monday, 25 February:
LJUBLJANA - Finnish Parliament Speaker Paavo Lipponen is to arrive in Slovenia at the invitation of his Slovenian counterpart France Cukjati. The pair is to meet at 9 AM and at speak to the press at 10 AM. Lipponen is to talk to representatives of the parliamentary committees on foreign policy and EU affairs at 10:30 AM. He is scheduled to meet President Janez Drnovsek at 11:30 AM, Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel at noon, and Prime Minister Janez Jansa at 1 PM. At 3:20 PM Lipponen is to meet heads of deputy groups. PODGORICA, Montenegro - European Affairs State Secretary Janez Lenarcic is to visit Montenegro on invitation by Gordana Djurovic, Deputy Prime Minister for European integrations. Lenarcic is also to meet Foreign Minister Milan Rocen and Parliament Speaker Ranko Krivokapic among others.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk is to attend a meeting of the eurogroup, an informal grouping of eurozone finance ministers.
SKOPJE, Macedonia - A delegation of the parliamentary Defence Committee and a National Assembly delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly are to start a three-day visit to Macedonia. They are expected to meet Vladimir Gjorcev, the chair of the Macedonian parliamentary Committee on Defence and Security and Besim Dogani, the head of the Macedonian parliamentary delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
LOKA PRI MENGSU - A two-day conference entitled "Changing Conditions in the Balkan Countries" on challenges for future cooperation with the EU and Central European countries; is to kick off at 9:30 AM. The event is organised by a group of Slovenian NGOs and Austria's EU Platform.
LJUBLJANA - The Higher Education, Science and Technology Ministry is to present a draft strategy for the development of information society by 2010 at a press conference at 11 AM.
LJUBLJANA - The Association of Free Trade Unions, Slovenia's largest trade union association, is to outline proposals for changes to the pension and invalidity insurance act at a press conference scheduled for 11 AM.
CANBERRA, Australia - A delegation of the parliamentary Commission for Slovenians Abroad continues its visit to Slovenians living in Australia. The lawmakers are scheduled to visit the Australian parliament, Slovenian embassy and Slovenian-Australian society Canberra.
LJUBLJANA - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to meet Mikhail Svidkoy, head of the Russian Federal Agency for Culture and Cinema; at 11 AM.
ZAGREB, Croatia - Slovenian films "Music is the Art of Time, Lp Film Pankrti - No Fun" by Igor Zupet and "The Grandmothers of the Revolution" by Petra Seliskar are to be presented at international documentary film festival Zagrebdox.
