Ljubljana, 26 February - Below is a schedule of events for Tuesday, 27 February:

SKOPJE, Macedonia - Prime Minister Janez Jansa, accompanied by Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel, Economy Minister Andrej Vizjak and over 100 executives, is to begin a two-day official visit to Macedonia. (STA)

BRUSSELS, Belgium - EU finance ministers are to look into stabilisation programmes drawn up for ten countries, including Slovenia, by the European Commission. Slovenian Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk is to be in attendance. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The Association of the Erased is to hold a news conference at the 15th anniversary of the removal of some 18,000 citizens of former Yugoslav republics from the Slovenian registry of permanent residents in 1992; at 11:30 AM. (STA)

LOKA PRI MENGSU - A two-day conference on the challenges for future cooperation with the EU and Central European countries is to come to a close. The "Changing Conditions in the Balkan Countries" event is organised by a group of Slovenian NGOs and Austria's EU Platform.

LJUBLJANA - Telco Telekom Slovenije is to hold a news conference at 1 PM to present its business results for 2006. (STA)

VELENJE - Home appliance maker Gorenje is to present the results for 2006 and current activities at 1:30 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Flag carrier Adria Airways is to present its business results for 2006 and plans for 2007 at a news conference at 10 AM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - President Janez Drnovsek is to meet at 11 AM Mikhail Svidkoy, head of the Russian Federal Agency for Culture and Cinema.

CANBERRA, Australia - A delegation of the parliament's Commission for Relations with Slovenians Abroad is to conclude its visit to Australia.

LJUBLJANA - STA is to publish a backgrounder ahead of the close of a call by the Culture Ministry for selecting the Slovenian city to be nominated for the European Culture Capital in 2012. (STA)
