Amnesty International: EU Should Press Slovenia on Erased

Brussels, 26 February - Amnesty International (AI) called on the EU on Monday to stop ignoring the plight of the erased, some 18,000 citizens who were removed from the Slovenian registry of permanent residents in 1992. Some 5,000 of the erased are, according to the human rights watchdog, still living in legal limbo.
