Race for European Capital of Culture Well Under Way

Ljubljana, 27 February - Slovenia will soon have to decide which of its cities will compete to be designated as European Capital of Culture in 2012. The last of the four cities to table their application was the Slovenian capital, Ljubljana. Three other cities that are competing for the much-coveted title are Celje, Maribor and Koper.
