Panel Examines Position of CoE with Regard to EU

Ljubljana, 28 February - Participants of a panel on the legal dimensions of the Council of Europe (CoE) agreed in Ljubljana on Wednesday that by forming its own standards in the field of human rights the EU is increasingly entering the area covered by the CoE. They however held different views as regards the ramifications of this process.
