Majority Stake in Steel Group Sold to Russian Company Koks

Ljubljana, 1 March - The government on Thursday confirmed the sale of a 55.35% stake in the Slovenska industrija jekla (SIJ) steel group to the Russian industrial group Koks for EUR 105m. "We are very happy with the selection of Koks as well as the negotiated guarantees and other provisions of the contract," SIJ director Tibor Simonka told the press.
