Strel Half-Way Through His Amazon Swim

Brasilia, 2 March - Slovenian adventure swimmer Martin Strel has completed half of his 5,430 km journey down the Amazon 2 days ahead of schedule. Aided by the highest water levels in years, he conquered 2,654 km after 29 days of dehydration, sunburns and encounters with a plethora of dangerous creatures.
