Parliament Accepts Resignation of Full-Time Mayor Kangler

Ljubljana, 5 March - The National Assembly began its regular February session on Monday by formally accepting the resignation of Franc Kangler as a member of parliament. Kangler, who belongs to the coalition People's Party (SLS), tendered his resignation because he was elected the mayor of Maribor in the run-off local elections in November.
