Women Remain Underprivileged, Statistics Show

Ljubljana, 7 March - The average age for women in Slovenia is 3.3 years higher than the average age for men, women are often more single parents and are more likely to live below the poverty line. Their wages are on the average 80 euros lower than those of men, their unemployment rate is higher and they are less likely to start a new business, statistical data shows.
