Govt Pleased with US Report on Human Rights, Opposition Cautions
Ljubljana, 7 March - The US State Department report on human rights in Slovenia in 2006, which was released on Tuesday, has been received with optimism by the government, however the opposition is less sanguine, in particular about the section which mentions reports of indirect government influence on the media and the treatment of minority groups.
